Hydro Power Project

Located in Owala village in Matale district. This hydropower plant is built across the Sudu ganga River and is fed by the water of Mahaweli Ganga, the longest river in Sri Lanka.

Capacity - 2.8 MW

Annual Energy - 13 GWh

Escas Ankanda

Hydro Power Project

Situated in Ankanda Village, Matale District, our expansive hydroelectric facility rests along the banks of Sudu Ganga, a river nourished by the mighty waters of Mahaweli Ganga. This remarkable establishment is our largest hydroelectric power station, and it is located below our Owala hydropower plant.

Capacity - 6.5 MW

Annual Energy - 24.8 GWh

Hydro Power Project

Situated amidst the Owala and Ankanda hydropower plants, our most recent addition to the national grid is this hydroelectric plant. This state-of-the-art facility harnesses the power of flowing water to generate clean and renewable energy, further contributing to our nation's sustainable development goals.

Capacity - 4 MW

Kithulgala

Hydro Power Project

The Kitulgala Mini Hydropower Project on Sri Lanka's Kelani River will harness natural water flow to generate renewable energy. Located downstream from the Broadlands Power Plant, this initiative will reduce the country's reliance on fossil fuel imports while cutting CO₂ emissions by 22,040 tons annually. The project's environmental benefits align with national climate goals and may attract green funding opportunities.

We aim to construct the power plant in Kiula village near Matale city, situated along Sudu Ganga. Our objective is to expedite its construction and establish a connection to the national grid at the earliest opportunity.

The project is a significant contribution to 'Uganda vision 2040' a strategic plan spanning 30 years designed to elevate Uganda's status from a lower to a middle-income country. This vision acknowledges the crucial role of energy in driving socio-economic transformation, emphasizing the necessity of electricity as its driving force.

Mpulungu Small Hydropower Project location was identified by Escas Power and currently holds its exclusive rights for the feasibility studies. The project is located in the Northern Province of Zambia bordering the Lake Tanganyika. This project is part of Escas Power's plan to diversify its investments in to developing global markets.

Solar Power Project

The solar power plant situated in Polonnaruwa district marks an important milestone as the inaugural project of Navitas Solar (Pvt) Ltd to be linked with the national grid. This remarkable achievement was made possible through the diligent efforts of the Ceylon Electricity Board, specifically under the "Surya Bala Sangramaya - Second Phase" initiative.

Capacity - 1 MW

Located in Mamaduwa village, Vavuniya district of Sri Lanka's Northern Province, this solar project is part of Ceylon Electricity Board's "Surya Bala Sangramaya" programme. Operational since 2023, the facility contributes 1.66 GWh of energy annually to the national power grid.
